1.With a flexible dressmaker’s tape measure:
Measure around your wrist without leaving a gap. I’ll calculate the extra room needed to make your jewellery comfortable.
Choker necklaces have two snap fasteners for a comfortable fit in different situations and temperatures.
2.Without a tape measure:
Use a piece of string or a shoelace:
- Wrap it around your wrist.
- Mark the length.
- Lay it against a ruler to find the measurement in centimetres.
3.Giving jewellery as a gift:
If you don’t know the exact measurement, here are our suggested sizes:
- For a bracelet: an average size of 16 cm is recommended. You can also request an extra snap fastener for a looser fit.
- For a choker: a length of 31 to 32 cm is recommended.
These measurements are for guidance and may vary depending on each person’s build.

How to care for your jewelleryamor de familia
Your amor de familia jewellery is handmade by me, with great care and love.
It is made with:
- Ribbons used to adorn traditional clothing from different countries around the world, made of cotton, silk or polyester.
- High-quality brass snap fasteners from the renowned German brand Prym.
- Stainless steel charms, hand-hammered by us.
Your jewellery can occasionally get wet. However, to preserve its original vibrant colours, I recommend removing it before showering, going to the beach or swimming in a pool.
To wash it:
- Always place it in a laundry bag for delicates.
- Machine wash it at 30 °C on a short cycle, with your clothes.

Made of 100% organic cotton, certified by OEKO-TEX, I paint them by hand with love, patience and passion… and that is what makes each piece unique and precious.
These are not mass-produced designs: they are decorated by hand, so a few care precautions are needed to preserve all their original vibrancy:
- Machine wash inside out at 30 degrees.
- Do not tumble dry.
- Iron inside out.
